My name is Nolan Padgett Sr. I am a native of Tampa, Florida. I am married to the lovely Sheila A. Padgett for the last 22 years. Together we have two young men Nolan Padgett Jr. age 18 and Cameron Padgett, age 16.
In my spare time I love to read motivational and leadership books. My favorite author is John C. Maxwell and my favorite book is the 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership. I love to cook for my family and my boys’ favorite dish is my pot roast.
My favorite sport is basketball and I have been officiating basketball for the last 25 years. I have also invested some of my time in giving back to the community through mentoring young men and coaching an AAU basketball team.
My family is of the utmost importance to me, and I am happiest when I can spend time with my family. No matter how busy I am, I make time for my wife, our children and my father. I believe in a work/life balance and I have always managed to maintain this balance no matter what is going on in my work life or personal life.
I graduated from the University of Florida in 1987 and I am an avid Gator fan. My favorite NFL team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
